This is a Tanks Inc. fuel tank. This tank will not fit early A Bodies. Tank is clean. Asking $150.00. Tank is located in Bakersfield, CA. Planning on coming to Spring Fling this spring and can deliver tank at this event.

filler size, mounting strap (one crossways instead of two longways), capacity (16g v 18g), vents

(fwiw, i know Dr. Bob and if he says it doesn't fit there's a darn good reason)
Good to know, I thought the newer tanks were one size fits all. The one I have for the ‘65 has all the indents for 1 or two straps and all the vents for the later years.

i'm not trying to step on any toes or muddy up a F/S ad, but i *think* filler angle/location might be slightly different. i don't have practical hands on experience with that in this particular instance, but having installed a bunch of tanks lately i can tell you that all the mfgrs play a little fast and loose with specs and sizes.

i'm sure Dr. Bob will chime in with the appropriate response.

I appreciate it, I wasn’t aware of the differences, but I’m still new to early A’s.
