My wife says it needs to go since our boys now need braces...

Factory 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340/Auto w/ 8 1/4" 3.21 Suregrip. Engine, Transmission and Radiator support all match the VIN, fendertag and buildsheet.

This Dart is a fairly high optioned car that was a SPECIAL ORDER Export vehicle (Switzerland). This car is 95% complete and original except for a half-baked paint job. The car RUNS AND YARD DRIVES (starts, moves, stops and turns) AT PRESENT and sounds great! It has a clear PA title in my name.

As you will see by the fender tag it is original FE5 Rallye Red / Black vinyl top with a unique European interior as installed by Automontage Schinznach AG. (For those who think I've lost my mind, kindly refer to Mopar Collector's Guide 12/03 edition for an expose' of a similar '72 340 Challenger Rallye survivor that will corroborate what you are about to see in the pictures.) Incidentally, the article suggested that this foreign auto group only imported 25 Mopars per year to finish and sell in Europe.

Some of the cool features of this Euro-Dart are factory Hella Halogen (bulb) headlights, a unique turn signal lever that flashes the high-beams (a requirement for driving the Autobahn) factory RECARO bucket seats (in a bizarre light green color/pattern), a radio delete plate since European stations broadcast at different frequencies and finally, a custom installed map pocket and overhead grab handles round out the odd accourtrements on this vehicle. I also have dozens of pages of paperwork relating to the "importing" of this vehicle back to the states.

Fender Tag/ Buildsheet Breakdown:

The Dart's driveline is complete and functional but I would assume that everything will need gone through for complete piece of mind. The floors, front and rear frames (with two small exceptions) and trunk/extensions are solid.

* I was planning on replacing both inner and outer fenders, the passenger side rocker and some of each quarter panel. I have a rust free trunk lid and spare V8 K-frame that goes with it.

The Dart has not been modified as it still has many factory issued parts that are hard to come by. Unfortunately, a prior owner swapped out the KMH speedometer for a traditional MPH unit. There will be VERY LITTLE parts chasing required to put this one back to 100% stock. Please note the MADE IN USA DODGE tag along with the European pro/mod tag.

As you can see this is one special car that deserves a full restoration. I had hoped to see this one through to the end but the boss says otherwise and being a responsible parent is always the right thing to do. Regardless, this is a perfect FATHER- SON/DAUGHTER project.

I've added a few pictures, but will send many more to a perspective buyer. While I want to be initially contacted through a PM, I will not negotiate through the keyboard. I want to talk to you personally and maybe even have a video chat so I can start the car up, give you a virtual tour and answer your questions in real time.

I'm asking $4,900.
