I am looking for a A/C hose for this 1974 Scamp. I have tried three times now from three different members to get this hose and all three times it has been wrong, now I have a total of $165.00 tied up into three wrong hoses. The hose that I am looking for is for either a 1974 Plymouth Scamp, or a 1974 Dodge Dart with a 318 V8. I believe it is called the discharge hose and it is located at the front top of the compressor held on with two bolts and has a support bracket on it that bolts to the top of the compressor and it also has that little can on it with the valve, it then run's under the upper radiator hose to the drivers side inner fender, goes behind the battery through the front radiator support and then connects to the A/C condenser just to the right of the drivers side headlight. I came close with the last members hose only to find out that it was for a /6 car which will not work. Being that this hose has always been missing from this car I can not send you a picture of what I am looking for but I did find some pictures of another members car that shows the hose on it. Please take a look at the pictures and make sure that if you think you have it that it is this hose and it is for a 1974 318 V8 car, earlier model car's will not work because of the front end change. Please P.M. me if you think you have the right hose, I did not think this would be such a problem to find.
