Was wondering which auto transmission was normally installed. 904 or 727? also what was the standard rear gear on the car out the door? Just wondering so I know where I stand. Got the car...but no info about it.

More than likely its a 904 if its a 318 if its a factory 360 it could be a 727. Rear end wise its either a 7 1/4 or 8 1/4 not sure on ratio.
 
My new 1974 Duster 360 came with 727 tranny and of course the 8-1/4 rearend.
