I know they're not the most popular choices, but I am feeling very nostalgic for my first car. If anyone has a lead on one, please pass it along. I'd prefer a V8, but at this point, location is more important. Needs to be near northern Michigan.
I would consider any 73-76 Dart Sport or Duster...
 
It's nowhere near northern Michigan, but there is a Hang 10 car for sale local to me for $1,000. V8, auto, buckets and console, disc brakes.

Just like all the rest of the cars, great price, nowhere near me...I would like to see pics or a link to an ad just for kicks and giggles..

location might be important, but if one finds something that needs everything sheetmetal wise.. where is the savings? would have been great to have gotten the 75 i had listed parts for in the parts section for you - but it had already had it's VIN deactivated and was moved into the yard for processing. they smashed it two weeks ago, still had most of front clip, one door, trunk lid and bumpers. peeled back drivers floor carpet, while cleaning out a few final bits - rock solid. freaking waste. i would have one transported from one of the arizona members - mopar brad, for instance, and save yourself bodywork hassles.

Trust me, it is definitely being considered that I need to look well outside the Great Lakes Region. Its even worse around here than when I first joined this site! Worse condition and higher prices...
