I was under the impression that NO v8's were available, but you just never know.

The V-8 option is just another rumor that pop's up from time to time. No proof has ever surfaced. That would defeat the purpose of the package that was optimized for fuel mileage. But, naturally, people swap in their own V-8's or put some of the Feather/Lite parts on their regular A-bodies.
