Hi,
I need some help from a 318 expert. My daughetr has a 74 RR stock 318 car which is in need of a new engine. I have in my garage a 60,000 mile FI 318 out of a 1989 Dodge van that burned up. Assuming I swap intake manifold, carb, and accessories, is there any other problem with doing this swap?
Should it just bolt in or are there differences with mounts, flex plate, or balancing etc. that would cause problems.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

There most likely is no provision on the cam or timing cover to accommodate a mechanical fuel pump so you will have to use an electric pump. I took the dribble injection off my '92 van with a 360 because it would intermittenly die whenever it wanted so I pitched the computer, injection and computer ignition and put the "regular" stuff on it. I used the stock in tank pump in my case with a pressure regular to return fuel back to the tank. In your case you will need to add a pump somewhere in the system.
