[SOLD] 1992 Dodge Dakota 518 overdrive transmission

In 92 all the V8's had the 518 behind them. The V6's had the 500. The 500 is still a good trans and will hold up behind a V8. 92 should also have the larger cooler lines. That is a lock up 500 and came with the low gear set. That alone should make it worth the $100.

Hell I'd buy it for parts but shipping or driving to PA is not worth it to me. Good luck though.
 
If it was a 518 I would get it. I want to put an OD trans in my '85 Ram with a 350-400hp 318 for a tow vehicle. I don't think the 500 would hold up to well with that kind of use.
