hey

can i put the injected 318 out if a newer truck like a durango or somithing i my 73 scamp? are the engines the same as my 318??

No, there are some major differences, like fuel systems and the computer to run the engine. It would cost more to do the swap than to build a good 360. Physically it will fit the same but the wiring is a major factor plus the cost of the high dollar fuel system and the return lines, let alone the differences in the flywheel because of the crank trigger.

it can done though. If you've got a complete donor vehicle and the time. Say you have a durango thats wrecked. take the engine, trans, computer and engine harness out of it. it's not that it can't be done. you just have to make a list of everything that needs to be done and decide if it's to much work or money.
