Got a friend with one in front of a 904.

External balanced engine, right?
What flex plate?
Balancer?
Can he run a neutral convertor?
Where to weld weights? (If applicable)

Never messed with one, and trying to help him get the car on the road.

@KnuckleDuster External, use the flexplate that Magnummopar sells and then use a neutral balance converter. I went through this headache about a month ago on a 98.

Can it be done in the car?
Seems like it could. Did you hit any snags?
Could be, i did it with it out of the car 2 times and seemed an easier chore.

I thought these were balanced to Magnum specs (it's a factory Magnum 5.9L long block with a better cam and carbureted intake). So a magnum balancer and Magnum type flexplate. That's from old memory though.
