I picked up a parts car for my 1996 Neon. Unbeknownst to me, Neon 2.0L engines changed in 2003 and don't retrofit.
This engine is solid, has 180k miles on it, and has 130psi compression or better on all cylinders. The automatic trans worked when I started tearing it down; this car got wrecked and so was running/driving when the reaper came for it.
$250 for both and I'll deliver within fifty miles of Kansas City.
It's 4/26/20, I'm going to sit on this car for one week and then it's going to the scrapper to get made into a new Kia Stinger.
