2012 Hot Rod Power Tour

Hey everyone. Is anyone going to be in Michigan for the power tour? Im heading to Detroit tomorrow morning from Grand Rapids. Staying in Detroit for the night and then heading over with the tour to Muskegon for Sunday.... Hope to see some Mopar's out there.

A friend and I went to the GM Provining Grounds yesterday for the first leg of the power tour, we are not long haulers but wanted to attend to see what type of people do this event and to see some cars also. It was packed meaning 1000 and 1000's of cars and people. On the way out it took over an hour seeing the lead you through the groeunds and even get a change to drive on there internal track, it was outstanding.....

Was there too...... the place is SO big that even know there was as many cars as there was it seemed thin.

They had a fleet of ZR1 Vette's & Camero's they were flogging out on the track looked to be a VIP thing, the sight and sounds of those things coming out of the hole and hitting the high banks at about a buck-20 was boner material.

The Tour is coming right thru my town, Chesaning . Ill be on M57 to wave and see you guys drive by. The wonderful state of mich would not let me put up a banner to welcome you to our town.

If any of you want to take a short detour to my shop, your more than welcome. Just turn left onto Amman Rd., Im only 2 miles off M57!
