The 4th race of the 2020 season, the Lucas Oil NHRA Summernationals at Indianapolis, is next weekend, July 18-19 right back at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, IN.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Saturday, March 13 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Nitro class qualifying is scheduled to start at 12:15PM EDT (9:15AM PDT).

Neither Pro Stock nor Pro Stock Motorcycle will compete at this event.
The Summernationals entry list is posted on
NHRA.com and currently shows 16 Top Fuel and 18 Funny Car entries. Keep checking http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist03.aspx for an updated entry list.
For whatever it may be worth, when I checked the Summernationals online entries earlier this week all of the Force cars were entered. Today they don't show.
Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!

A day late, and I'm always a dollar short, but here is your "Tuesday before the race" reminder to post your picks for the 2020 Lucas Oil NHRA SummerNationals in Indianapolis if you haven't done so already.
The NHRA website currently shows 20 Top Fuel and 18 Funny Cars.
Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle are not competing at this event.
The current weather forecast calls for high temps of 90F on Saturday with about a 50% chance of light rain starting about noon and possibly turning into rain showers after 3PM, 92F and partly sunny on Sunday.
Post those picks!

Please double check the current event entry list for your driver picks at Lucas Oil NHRA Summernationals at Indianapolis* to verify your picks are competing in this first event back from the COVID-19 hiatus. There are some BIG names not entered for this event and some other BIG names returning.

OK, I'm back to my original picks for the season...
Top Fuel - Brittany Force
Funny Car - Robert Hight
Pro Stock - Erica Enders
Pro Stock Bike - Angelle Sampey

SPOILER ALERT!!!
DON'T READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE QUALIFYING RESULTS BEFORE WATCHING Q2 ON SUNDAY MORNING.

Nobody picked either of the #1 qualifiers this week.
Congratulations to 'SSG Karg' (FABO) for grabbing the Lucas Oil SummerNationals 'Top Qualifier' title with an very nice total of 14.5 bonus points. He picked the #2 qualifier in Funny Car and the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel. Way to go!
'64BEL' (FBBO) took the #2 qualifier spot with 13.0 bonus points each. More great picks!
Good luck all in eliminations tomorrow!

We have 15 players for the 4th event of the 2019 NHRA "Pick 'Em game season and 11 different driver combos made up of:

* 4 different Funny Car drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between the #4 qualifier, Ron Capps (1 pick), and the #13 qualifier, Matt Hagan (6 picks). There isn't another head-to-head matchup possibility until the semi-final round of eliminations.

It sure is strange only with only the nitro Pro classes competing this week.

Good luck all!

Y'all are going to have to wait for Labor Day weekend for the results of the 2020 Lucas Oil SummerNationals.
'Mother Nature' proved to be the ULTIMATE ELIMINATOR by washing out the final round of eliminations.
I can tell you that only six players made it out of the opening round of Top Fuel eliminations with any points...and they didn't pick up any additional points in the 2nd round of eliminations.
In addition to that, 9 players are still alive to pick up points during the Funny Car part of final eliminations. 4 players were done after the 2nd round of eliminations, and the other 3 players were shut out of Funny elimination points when there picks either lost in the opening round of eliminations or weren't entered to race in this event.
