No timing tab? Wouldn' that make it a 67 and earlier? 68 had pass side cast in I think.

There may be a date code in a casting somewhere over the seal but it looks early with no timing boss and the odd bolt boss on the driver side. I have one thats similar and it says 63 (64 engine build)

I had a 68-318 Satellite with the metal tab and this cover. I bought the car with 62k miles on all original belts hoses and dated plug wires.
