hey guys i have a stock 225 74 duster i want to change it over to a 318 i have everything for change out mine 225 i have k member brake parts rear end driveshaft transmission ect.. so my friend rebuild the 318 i was wondering if i should rebuild the transmission? the transmission is is a 904.

I would service the trans, make sure the cooler and lines flow properly, set the kickdown linkage right and go with it. If you rather spend the coin on rebuild now, go new cooler and reman'd torq. conv. also and be done with it.
