hey guys wanted to see some pictures of 235 60 15 tires on the front of the later abodies 67 and up or anything, going to put this tire on a 15x7 rim with 4.25 backspace 5 on 4 drums, this car already has had 225 70 14 tire and a 225 60 15. I have seen pictures on them but a little trimming is needed on the bottom. Thanks!

What car?

Normally I would say the 26.1” height of the 235/60/15 would probably cause you some issues at the lower front corner of the wheel opening. But if a 225/70/14 cleared you should be ok, that’s a 26.3” tall tire.

With the SBP drums and a 15x7 with a 4.25” backspace the width shouldn’t be an issue, the narrower SBP track width takes care of that. If it were a BBP disk car you’d probably need more backspace. Or fender mods. Or a relatively high ride height.

With the combination of height and width I think it will be close, but going off of what you’ve had on there before it should work.

Kinda fat for the front ain't it?

Nah, that’s still skinny in my book. Now 275’s are kinda fat for the front, but I still might try 285 next time around :D

Here’s 245/60/15 on a 15x6.5 wheel on a 68 Dart with big bolt pattern disk upgrade.

Need to move the bottom of the fender front out. If your car has a lower valance, you can’t do that

245 60 15? i didnt think that could be possible

It’s real close.

You must push out the front fender dog leg out about 2” by moving the fender support forward. And those are 6.5” wide rims.

Do you think the 64 Valiant wheel opening is different? In a good way? lol
