There is a guy near me who has a set of these for sale. Would there be any advantage to these over my standard 273 manifolds? Are they any different?
Thanks

There is a difference in 273 manifolds for year models. The later ones do flow a little better than the earlier. Earlier left manifold had a nearly 90 degree crook at the bottom of it.
Later is a shorter casting. Then a little different turn with the head pipe there helped flow a little. Not enough difference to spend coins on.
I would agree but 67 was the last year for the Commando/ Charger 273. 64-69 all used similar if not identical manifolds. # 769 was listed as a right hand from 64-68 for 273/318 A & B bodies. The #847 is a left hand manifold from 64-66 A body only. the other left manifold for A bodies is a #945 which fits 67-69 A bodies only with a 273 or 318. That manifold probably flows better but really isn't designed for the early A bodied cars. It would work on the early cars with a little modification. tmm
Years ago a local mopar man told me that they deleted what he called "their crazy crook" because it was too easily broken. A little better flow in through the cross over under intake was a side effect. He said, "They only made it that way for ease of assembly in the first place". That's all trivia and off topic anyway.
