All 273's 64-67 had those rockers...68-69 were hydraulic, like the 318 of those years.oh man you got me all wobbly kneed after I seen those adjustable rockers. do you have a solid lifter cam? is this goin behind a 4 speed??? I always wanted a 273 commando and 4 speed combo.
yes sir Val, I know all 273's had 'em, I just like to see 'em. I wish mother mopar stayed with those rockers all through the years. But I guess there wasn't a need when they went away with the solid cam in '68All 273's 64-67 had those rockers...69-69 were hydraulic, like the 318 of those years.

Has the original Commando cam. It is an automatic. I would have liked a 4 speed, but had surgery on my arm to repair torn ligaments I felt this was a better option for me.oh man you got me all wobbly kneed after I seen those adjustable rockers. do you have a solid lifter cam? is this goin behind a 4 speed??? I know the manifolds will not stay red very long but painted them for protection. This has been a project that has taken much longer than I had plannedI wouldda thought the manifolds red too wouldda been too much, but it's not. It looks real good.
And that's the way the factory did it. When you get it running the paint will burn off and look just like it did 50 years ago.I know the manifolds will not stay red very long but painted them for protection. This has been a project that has taken much longer than I had planned
When you get it fired up, if you could post a video, I'd like to hear the cam. I have a commando that has a flat Erson hyd that was in it when i got it. I'm interested in the idle of the stock commando cam.Has the original Commando cam. It is an automatic. Many thanks, my friend.Still way further ahead of me and we started about the same time. lol

I thought about adding a clear coat to the exhaust,
Mine don't look too pretty any more either. I painted then with the high temp cast paint and they still rust through. Oh well. They only look new once.
