This is a decent running 273 engine that I just switched out for a340. It always started easily and didn’t smoke. it is minus the carburetor, exhaust manifolds and pulleys. It has the stock 4BRL intake manifold and nice chrome valve covers. $300.00 OBO

Bought engine in the 90’s, (my car doesn’t get driven much), as a rebuilt engine. Was told it has a different camshaft in it and he said it was a Commando engine but he put different heads on it because he didn’t like adjustable rockers. I never dug into it because it ran good enough for me. So, I’m really not sure if it’s a Commando. It’s located in Ocala Florida.

any chance you could pull a spark plug and check the piston tops. If it is a real commando your price could go up a bit.
