Does anyone know if they are the same all years or are there differences like pre '66 heads and intakes? Thanks
There are different balancer between early and late smallblock. It's different from the year they moved the timing tab to the drivers side. It was built in in the timing cover.Should be same as all 273, 318 and internally balanced 340.
I just got a new one from Napa. With new seal was like $100.00
Oh shoot- you are correct! Also the pulley bolt pattern is different. I’m sorry for the wrong info. There are different balancer between early and late smallblock. It's different from the year they moved the timing tab to the drivers side. It was built in in the timing cover.
Do you have a part # for that one? Timing tab on passenger side correct?Oh shoot- you are correct! Also the pulley bolt pattern is different. I’m sorry for the wrong info.
Anyhow- Napa got me one for my 66’ 273 a few days ago. It was spot on. I did not even think twice because they asked 273 or 273/318?!? I said straight up 273... “okay.”
This one comes up although it doesn't look correct. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NDP...monic+Balancer&keywordInput=harmonic+balancerDo you have a part # for that one? Timing tab on passenger side correct?

Makes sense. It says "may fit your 1966 dodge Dart." NAPA doesn't ask for the engine size when you set up the car information. No other choices. That one is for a slant 6.
