273 R. side manifold numbers

I just took off a set of 65 Barracuda 273 manifolds. NEVER removed. 80K mile car.
Left 2465857 - right side: 2465769.

According to "mymopar"... thats a B body 65 and up #.

So I have a second set of early A 273, off of a car.
Left 2465857 and right side: 2465769 as well.


Anyone else hit this ???? I think mymopar is wrong on this one...... I can't have 2 "pairs" removed and both sets be indentical and both sets be incorrect.

I just checked 2 65 273 mans. the L sides show 2465847, mine show same no. as your on the right side. one set just came off 65 dart that was last driven in 1980 so I dare say its never been apart!??

i'm NO expert on 273 but perhaps the b body used different left side maniforl????

the second set I have is off car that I bought in boxes!!!!! so no telling there!!!

we all know mopars are strange to say the least!!!???? does your left side NECK down?????? I would say IF the 273 left side for the B body didn't neck down AND fit the early A cars, people would been using them for decades!!???? perhaps both necked down, but the exit angle was slightly different? but would work on the A car as well???? dunno

maybe Ma Mopar changed their castings along then and used different cast NO. ?????? wow I just don't know, but interesting question....

I show Left as casting # 2465847 1964-66 A body 273
OR....
......... Left as casting # 2780945 1967-69 A body 273 318LA
and
...... Right as casting # 2465769 1964-68 A & B Body 273 318LA
OR....
...... Right as casting # 2843953 1967+72 ABC Body 273 318LA

As for your # 2465857... I can't find that as correct # for any exhaust manifold... Double check that last 5... I bet it's a 4 (poorly formed maybe?)

yup.. your right. I looked at the MyMopar site...that's where the data is not complete or "slightly" wrong! lol

acording to my numbers these will fit a 65 baracuda a body. I'm new at this so i'm looking for the left side hipo manifold part no 2465857. Does anyone have one for sale and will you ship to nova scotia.

As mentioned, the '64-6 273 uses a 2465847 driver's side manifold. It doesn't matter if it's a 2bbl or 4bbl engine.....they use the same part.
