273 tailpipe size dartcharger

question for you all........273 dartcharger 1965 4sp. 3:55
I have my dougs headers , 2.5" , x-pipe, mid pipes and dynomax ultraflo mufflers all on and dumped before the rearend.. what size tailpipes do you all recommend?
some articles say it does matter what size after the mufflers because the exhaust is all cooled down already to some point.

I already have 3 sets of tailpipes .........2.25" 2.5" or 3" tails .. my choice .
do not want it to crackle with too small

2.25" . 3" would sound real mean/big .. 2.5" good sound overall.
