I have a nice used set of 3.23 gears for an 8 3/4 rear with 489 case number.
Overall shape and Pattern are good. No rust or pitting. One small mark on outside of the ring gear which is outside the gear contact area.

Price is $95 shipped in the lower 48 states.
 
I am not real knowledgeable about rear end or gear info, I have a 71 B body 8 3/4, 456 case, would this possibly fit or do the case numbers have to match
 
Case numbers need to match. Check your case number to be sure - the last three numbers. The most common case numbers end in 741, 742 or 489. There are a couple older case numbers from the 1960’s that can I muse components from one of the three case numbers above.
