Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get under around 2750 lbs in a 3/4 chassis Dart. Car will have a iron big block with aluminium heads. Twin 88's , no inter cooler and probably a glide.
Will have a tubular K-member as well.
Any input appreciated.

im almost there with a all cast iron slant six (same as stock SB) and stock body and I havn't got really radical yet...

So as a 3/4 car with light aluminum sheet I think I should be able to get close.

My back half 69 dart with a aluminum b1 motor with carbin fiber nose and doors weighs 2440 with out me in it.......

That is light, when you say back half car does this mean original floor until the rear of the front seats or firewall back?
Who did you get your carbon fibre parts from.
Is there any pics of your car on here?
Lots of questions,lol

I see no reason for you not to reach the weight you want. just choose your parts wisely.

all round tubing and all chromoly. and aluminum interior to replace all removed steel floor.

aluminum racing seats

I would do all this first and weight the car with all the steel body panels first then go from there.

if your talking true carbon fiber parts you are looking at lots of dollars that could be spent elsewhere if you can make do with the factory body parts.

stock front frame rails , firewall and stock floor to the back of the doors, really motor sports k frame and coil overs. Glass tek made me the nose and doors.... if you go to you tube lookup clint's 69 dart or monstermopar weekend extrene 10.5 should be vidos not good posting pictures i've bin 8.25 in the 1/4 and 5.25 in the 1/8 i won 2013 mmw 10.5 champinship..... that was at 3040 lbs can't wait till next year with the weight out.
