3.6 Pentastar?

Standard trans is a six speed....standard (manual).

Kitty and I are possibly looking to get a new vehicle maybe by the end of this year. Kinda lookin at the Gladiator, since I had an 08 Wrangler Unlimited. We liked it, but the 3.8 converted minivan motor was a total POS. Went out at 18K miles. Dealer covered it with a new engine but it was never the same so I sent it down the road. What about the Gladiator and the 3.6? Are they any good? Any of yall have one? Likes and dislikes?

3.6 has been a good motor after the 1st 2 two years of production.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 standard cab short box with the 3.6 8-speed.
It has been a good truck so far, I was actually surprised on how much power it has, and every tank it has gotten over 20 mpg, so not bad for a 4x4 truck.
It just sips gas, not like my very thirsty 2017 3500 Ram 6.4 6-speed 4x4, that truck averages around 10 mpg, I only use it when I need a heavy truck.
