Probably will end up costing me a couple grand, with what happened today, but I am putting my 3:23 gears back in. About two hundred miles on these, with a new pinion bearing. $125, I think the receipt is still on the box for almost double that without the bearing.

What didn't you like about the 3:73's?? To much rpm on the freeway I presume?? What size rear tire are you running and what rpm did it run at on the freeway with the 3:73's?

Thanks

I loved everything about the 373, but I have always believed in combos, all the way back to my low 10 drag car. The 373 was awesome!

I am totally changing my combo from a killer 340 race gas stroker, to a mild mannered 318 with power steering. Just a different car, I may want to take this car on a long road trip now.
