Does anybody know of a supplier for 3/8" wide (chrome) lockstrip? The lockstrip in my '66 wagon rear quarter windows is crumbling and/or missing completely- luckily the seals themselves are in good shape, since they are unavailable anywhere. All the lockstrip I can find is closer to 9/16" (which I bought after being told that is what I needed and it would fit, even though it's not quite the same), but there's no way I can get it installed decently.
The old stuff measures up at 3/8, but so far no luck finding new stuff.

I know there was a Ford part still available that worked, can't tell you the part number but see what you can find...

We offer this lockstrip for the early A-body station wagons.....

GG-W131, $79.95 PER SIDE...12 ft. long, chrome plastic lockstrip...144" long, 13/32" wide at base, 7/32" thick

Found a possibility through CL Laurence, and yes, it's advertised to be for the Ford 2 piece weatherstrips. But its not quite the same profile, a little wider too. Big issue is they sell it in 200' rolls...

Thanks!
I wasn't sure that profile would fit the factory gasket, since the original strip is flat bottomed.
But it looks like that's as close as it gets now.
A retired friend is going to contact the glass shop he worked at, knows they had some back then but it's been a while and they tend to throw out slow moving/obsolete inventory.
Looks like it's time to rob my "swear jar"!
