I purchased a 3 point seatbelt system from Classic Industries for a car I intend to drive a lot. Even though it was listed for 68-70 A-body with buckets, and I was told that it would mount to the existing 1970 Dart welded in anchors, that was not true. I installed the belts as a part of a complete redo of my interior and they worked great... until I installed the bucket seats. The retractor is considerably bigger than the stock lap belt retractor and if you install it in the same place, when you push the bucket back it pushes the retractor over so that the slot where the belt comes out faces the back seat. I ended up pulling the the back seat, arm rests, rear side panels, carpet and Dyna Mat up so that we could weld new anchors in place near the front of the back seat without damaging the new interior. The system works fine now, just wish I had known before I put the interior in - thus this thread. The belt is not in a good place for getting in and out of the back seat, but then I can't remember the last time anybody sat in the back seats of any of my Darts.
