I have an '89 motor and trany out of a ram truck. About 75 k on both. TB fuel injection, and all electrics. Would make a good swap into an early A?
Actually have the whole truck, so any other parts are available too. Would like to keep this fairly local. Taking offers.

Thanks FABO

From what I can find, they are 302's. Apparently all 318's in '89 had them.
Does anyone know any different? Help us out here. Thanks

There is a casting number on the cylinder head. All you have to do is remove the valve cover and look at the intake runners for the cast #. You may have to spray a small amount of degreaser if its high mileage.

Not all trucks came with the 302 heads (supposedly).

Thanks LX guy.
From what I've read, all 89 318's were roller motors with the 302's. I may have to take a look myself.

Sale pending(maybe this exact issue)
