hey everyone still cant figure out what to do with my exhaust. Ive been posting threads left and right trying to get all the info I can get. Well I was wondering if the exhaust manifolds off my 1974 dart 318 will work on the 1974 360 engine im working on swapping into my car? Im worried about leaks and what not. will they bolt right on and work with out any leaks?

I know there are posts on this but I believe you would be choking your engine. They should fit fine because it is the same block but seems to me that the ports are smaller. If you could get some off a Dakota 360 you would be better off, I do not remember what year though but I know a little grinding on them is necessary. GOOD LUCK

They will bolt on and work with no leaks, but may be a little restrictive compared to a 340/360 manifold with larger ports.

Hog out the ports some to increase flow if you wish. Be careful around the scallops for the bolt holes so you don't break through...

Although the 318 manifolds will bolt up, I can see why you might have some concern?? Here are some pics of the 318 gasket (blue) superimposed on a 360 gasket.
If you look real close at the bottom pic you can just see daylight in the lower left corner of the gaskets.

That can be hogged out with a die grinder.

Just watch the scallops around the bolt holes so you don't break through. I did once...
