hello i could really use some opinions about these 77clevite (nascar engine performance ) connecting rod bearings. they have scores on all of them. some not so bad not able to feel with my nail. where as a few i can feel the scrapes small, but i can feel scrape with nail. it has not been easy to get these seems they are out of stock. i am sure that i will be able to find new part eventually. i need it done asap but i will not put unreliable parts in engine. please tell what you guys think ? would you use ? the one by it self in the pic is the worst of them.

Why the edit the OP Mods?
That Said, I'm NOT THE Super Duper Engine Guy, I build, but I'm slow. And Paranoid! Don't wanna build a Grenade, caint afford to and dont wanna do the labor 2x...but that looks like the copper inner is showing. Something ate em up a Lil!. Ain't NO WAY I'd run them, unless I was stranded..who knows if they'll hold crush, or if they'll continue to shed metal? @RustyRatRod

I would say normal, yes. For being assembled in a filthy engine.

Yep I would not use those. Engine was NOT put together in anything close to a "clean room". Also, I may be wrong but they don't look to be labeled as to where they came from. I would never swap positions of a bearing that is to be reused. Bearing are cheap in the big picture.

yeah, thanks for you input. super frustrated as those bearings just came out of the packaging. they should have been brand new.

thank you. i did not install them because they looked worn. lopers performance center in phx, arizona sold the set to me as new..

someone put used bearings in the box and returned them and kept the new bearings . i bet they won't believe you and refund your money .

Ahh ****, I thought those were bearings you removed from your engine. I would at least try to return them...next time open pkg on ANY new stuff.
Good luck
