Hi I'm sure this has been asked but what do you think of this combo? Forged stock 340 crank, scat H-beam rods, KB844 flat top 4.7cc pistons, magnum heads mildly ported & comp cams XE275HL, Eddy RPM air gap & 750 holley backed by built 904 3000-3500 rpm stall to 3.90 gears. Occassionaly hit the strip but mostly street bounder. Any input or ideas are greatly appreciated. Oh yea going into my 63 AMC Rambler wagon. I have posted a few pics of it under transmission section.

In general, I'd say it'll be fun.

Forged stock 340 crank,
A cast unit would have done well. No issue with a hi horse street stripper engine

scat H-beam rods,
Stronger cheaper than rebuilt! Whats not to like?

KB844 flat top 4.7cc pistons,
Ahhhhhhh, squeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeee in conjunction with the

magnum heads mildly ported
Magnum heads and there 1.6 rocker, nice, watch total lift and choose the correct valve spring and double check clearance in the rocker to guide area with the cam below...

comp cams XE275HL,
The total lift with the added ratio ought to be good.

Eddy RPM air gap
750 holley

good topper combo choice

backed by built 904 3000-3500 rpm stall to 3.90 gears.
Good combo to run behind the engine. Ought to work well.
