318 to 340 cloneing

ok i have a question. maybe a dumb one , but a question none the less. in my cloneing quest i have aquired the following parts. factory 340 intake, thermoquad, factory fuel line for the thermoquad, 340 aircleaner. the question is in swapping the intake to the 318 ( yes, i know about the port matching issue) will the kickdown linkage work from the 318's 2 bbl and 904 tranny? also will the throttle linkage on the thermoquad work with the stock 318 accelerator cable? i was thinking the 318's accelator cable may be too short for the thermoquad. it looks like it will bolt up ok, but will it work, fully opening the 4 barrel or be too short. what else am i missing here anything?

Should be enough adjustment in the cable to the bracket to make it work and still open the secondaries too.

thanks. that is what i was hopeing. i guess the kick down linkage will be ok as well.
