318 to 340 swap

I have a question on my swap.

I have a 72 dart 318 car that I am putting in a 340.
I just rebuilt the 340 and will be using the 904 behind the 340.

I have a 8.25 sure grip rear with 3.21 gears.

Will the stock torque converter work with the 340?
The 340 is a 72 casting from a 4speed car (there was a pilot bushing in the crank).

I am concerned with vibrations etc.

you should be good to go unless the harmonic balancer says "use with cast crank 340 only" and you will want to install hi po 340 manifolds or headers
