I'm in the middle of a Magnum 360 swap in my '71 scamp and I need a set of early set of 340-360 mount brackets and not the spool kind. If anyone has a set to sell reasonable let me know please. I need them ASAP it's the only thing holding me up. :prayer:

    I have a set that bolted a 340 into a '70 Challenger.

I may be mistaken but I believe magnum motors take 318 mount brackets.

318,340,360 all share the same right/passenger side mount.

Ok, please educate me on this as to why. I'm assuming it's because it's juat an E body thing? You know learning can sometimes be a painful experience!

Let me add a little mud to the mud pie. My understanding is the 340 driver's side bracket is a stand alone piece. Left side only. Will someone correct me.

A body and E body 340 mounts are in fact different.
If I remember right the E body mounts place the motor back further because of the longer engine bay. The difference of the mounts is the placement of the holes. They are very hard to tell apart from the untrained eye. Buyer beware.
