Finally drove our new 1970 Swinger. WOW so much more power than the 318. With 4 speed and possy traction it will lay rubber through all 4 gears. SOOO much fun.Just got to fix a brake leak ...... so I can stop.

Hey 65, looks like you put plastic all around the engine stand to keep off the over spray, but you got over spray all over the deck and inside the block ?
My motor stands are all different colors just because, but I always tape off the engine.
Nice color, it looks like the color I painted a 400 Chevy small block I did a couple years ago.

Hey guys, after painting the block I use acetone to clean all the machined surfaces. I used to tape everything off but find it easier to use the acetone to remove the over spray! 65'

The color is AMC JEEP metallic blue. It matches the 40 Plymouth Coupe I'll be dropping it into! 65'
