340 aircleaner

That one may be correct but I thought they used a single snorkle in 72.
 
that's not a 72 340 air cleaner.

adam is correct it has a single snorkal and has the 2 trap doors under it in the rear at least thats what's on my 72 gssdemon and my son's 72 cuda.

A&E bodys had the same on the 340's

The 70-71 models were black with dual openings but no snorkels and the Orange 340 pie pan. the 72 up 340's had the orange one as shown in the link with dual snorkles.

I have been thinking about which alternative is the coolest , use a orginal cleaner on a engine thats not matchingand not the a 72, or put the 70-71 aircleaner there instead because it´s much more nice looking ? :)

The site tells me that the double snorkel -72 setup is from a 400 and the single snorkel from -72 340 :)
 
My car is a 72 but it has a 70-71 cleaner on it. Here is a pic of it.

Im pretty sure that the 72's had a single snorkle tho.

The 71 had a black top as well. I believe the 72's up had the orange one.
