I have a 340 block I took in on trade. I need to free up some space so its up for sale. Its used but in great shape and is ready to build. 340 block 4.070". Cam bearings installed, freeze plugs installed, MP Ductile iron main caps. Give it a bath and build yourself a 340 or 416. The pics shows it when it was built, its now painted red and has about 500 miles on it. Went to BBM and took this back on trade. I built it and I know the block is just right.

Asking $750

Figure $200-300 for a core
$250 B&H with plates and plateau hone
$150 decking
$150 main hone to spec
$50 oiling mods
$25 cam bearings
$15 freeze plugs

Its a bargain and a deal!

I paid that for a used engine alone, then all the machining on top of it. I'm in to my block for $600 alone in machining plus the cost of the block and freeze plugs. Plus, I don't have the nice MP main caps.

Someone is going to get a killer deal!
