has anyone ever used an isky mega cam before ? my 69 dart has a rebuilt 340 9.75 compression, rpm intake 650 double pump carb, lightly ported big valve j-heads, headers with dual exhaust, 727 with 2400 converter, and 3.55 gears, I was looking at an isky 270 mega cam, I am new to mopars and would like to know what would work best, looking for something fun on the street and would pull hard to 6000 rpm and run low 13s to high 12s, any help would be great.

They are great grinds for old technology, they work good. There are alot of grinds that would work great for your set up but Im assuming you want the idle of a tight lobe seperation with fairly moderate duration and lift.I would suggest this grind from lunati over the isky though, its a bit more aggressive but has close to the same numbers at .050 duration and the same 108 lobe seperation so idle will be similar. http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=1529&gid=277

Good Morning,
I have also looked at Lunati for 68 Barracuda 340
Was thinking of the 60402. Would I be ok with that.
Springs, keepers etc they recommend.
355 rear gears. 727 trans. Carter carb 650. What do you think. Thanks
