340 Oil Pan Question.....

I recently purchased a 1970 340 engine that is complete. The engine was in an E-body Cuda, my question is this, will the oil pan that's on the engine work in my 1971 Demon?? I'd hate to try and set the engine in and find out the pan won't work. The number on the oil pan is 294, any ideas??

Yep only some trucks differ location of the sump...

all passenger cars take the same oil pan a center sump......the trucks have a rear sump...
