Finally getting the 340 six pack pulled out and cleaned up. I bought the intake and carbs from a gentleman who owns a speed shop around the Sacramento area. As I’m doing my preliminary’s and part sourcing.. I’m not finding much information out there regarding the throttle cable. The A body, or at least my setup doesn’t appear to be functional with the linkage.. Anybody on here ever install a six pack on an A body? Perhaps find the appropriate throttle cable for the paring?

Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

Attached is a photo of the soon-to-be installed six pack - linkage is on my bench for the carburetors. I believe all I’m needing is the appropriate throttle cable :)

Those appear to be the mechanical linkage carbs offered through DC and other sources- driver's side fuel inlets and no vacuum pods, unlike OEMs. From what I understand, basically Bowtie Tripower carbs. Your center carb may need the Holley/Mopar linkage adapter depending where the carbs were sourced, especially if you need to connect kickdown linkage for an automatic trans.

Fuel inlets and vacuum pods are on the passenger side. The original photo your referring to is of the driver side missing most of the mechanical linkage. This is all 100% mopar, but as stated in the original message, the linkage isn’t hooked up, it’s on my bench. The car is a four speed manual, so no kickdown. - Here is a photo of the passenger side with the hardline fuel rails / vacuum diaphragms.

Call Six Pack Performance, that’s where I purchased my throttle cable for my B body.

Here is another photo of the driverside / without the air assembly. Linkage is connected and visible in this one.. - it’s a little dirty, as this was taken before cleaning / paint.

Gotcha. The angle of the original pic was a bit deceiving in that regard- diaphragms were more obscured than it appeared, and looked like the inlets were open on the driver's side... my mistake.

I have a Sixpack on my stroker '69 Dart. Correct linkage there so far. I can take a picture later when I go out to the garage for the center carb cable pin, return spring and stand. I have a spare cable, will measure it.

THAT would be amazing!!! Appreciate the response, and look forward to hearing back.

I used the cable from.the DC / Mopar install kit. I do have a trans rod from a R/A but did not use it as run reverse manual vavle body.
Six Pack Performance has the right cable

Wow! Very loud under that hood! Looks great! What year / model is your car?

I should’ve noted that my car is a 1969 Swinger. It’s a different throttle cable post ‘69 from my understanding.

Okay, the cable stretched out end to end is 19 1/2". It's just a stock 318/340 cable.
Part # is in the picture, from Mega Parts.
183-TC 531. Jamie at Mega should have anything you need on his site.
Can help with tuning down the road.
