340 stroker deck clearance

Looking to stroke a 340 and was wondering if the stroker kits come basically with .000 deck clearance or if the pistons stick up out of the hole like a stock 340. Wanted to use closed chambered heads so it makes a difference. Anybody do this already that would share some info??? I will most probably use a scat kit. Thanks.

SCAT kits used the Icon pistons. They are .015 or so below the deck spec of 9.600". After cleanup of the deck, you will have a zero deck. All the stroker pistons will be very similar, but all will be below deck from the factory spec deck height of 9.600"
