340 swap

hey everyone im hopin to swap in a 340 into my 70 duster. its currently got a 318/904 in it. I was just wondering if the driveshaft length would need to be changed when it goes in also i was wondering if theres any other major things i should worry about. what about brakes? and torsion bars? thanks for your help :headbang:

I swapped a 360 into my 318/727 combo. The question is.. are you keeping the 904? If so driveshaft should be the same.
A range of torsion bars are available for upgrades, i havent changed mine yet, but some of the guys on here recommend .089 (383 A body size). If changing torsion bars, get advice on front /rear anti-roll bars. set them up as a combination.
