I'm new to small block Mopars, always ran big blocks & hemis. I traded for a '69 Dart with a 340 +.30,12.5:1 compression, eddie heads,.620 roller cam,MSD 6al & billet distribtor with heavy springs. I know small blocks like less total timing than big blocks but really not sure where to time this engine. I don't have the funds or time right now to track test it,just looking for a good starting point. Thanks

With the good compression and the Edie heads, that setup shouldn't need much timing at all. If it where mine, 32 is where to start, and be safe. Should have a very torque happy motor and it ought to act like a big block, as you will probably find the flow limits of the heads, before it gets to crazy RPM. Most likely, an engine built similar, would finish off the door strike pin in my Duster.
Good Luck and have fun!

Thanks guys. Set it at 32 today for starters till I can do a test & tune. Seems happy there right now.
