360 4 speed swap help

I am in the middle of doing my 4 speed swap and Im having problems with my crossmember. It looks like Im going to have to fabricate something with it because the header is going to hit the idler arm due to clearance issues. So with this my crossmember needs to be modified. I am just throwing this out there to see if anyone had any other kinds of problems converting a 6cyl car with this. Any help or insight on a similar situation would be extremely helpful.

Trans cross members usually need no mods for the swap. Auto or manual trannys bolt right up.

Are you sure you don't mean the K-frame?

What type of headers?

ding the header.

you might wanna check the angle of the idler though to see if it's lined up well with the pitman, then ding header tube afer adjustments are made like ovaling the bolt hole and welding a thick washer to correct.
