I have a low compression 77 360,.030 over flat tops,284H cam.Right now I have a TorkerII intake that I,m gonna swap for an RPM Air-Gap with a Holley 750.I want to purchase some Alumi. heads already done(bolt on)What,s the best bang for your buck?Eddy,s,Mopar Performance,Dart,Brodix.Any advise will be helpful!.Thanks.

P.S I have a 904,trans-go 2 kit,2500 stall,8 3/4,3.91,s Moser Axels.

looking at the engine you have I would go with the eddy aluminum heads. you can reuse your intake, headers, and stock non-adjustable rockers/pushrods.

the new mopar performance heads are eddy with mp part number.

brodix/dart need headers and some new valve gear.

Can you buy these heads already assembled?P@Polished,all hardware? The reason I ask is the U.S dollar is at $1.08 right now and 6 months ago it was at $1.28,so now would be a good time to buy before it goes back up.Which it will.Could save some money buying now.

the eddy come assembled from edelbrock...can be bought from summit or jegs..or anyother large part retailer.

if you want them ported and polished you need to buy them from someone like hughes engines....they offer them stock...prepped..and cnc ported...

maybe someone else can list where they are available race ready...
might want to check with Modern Cylinder Heads in ClintonTownship Michigan..Jeff will do cnc porting also..

Petty i'm running Edelbrocks on my '77 360 but i bumped the compression up to 10.5 to 1,and i'm running a bigger cam then you.. they perform quite well i got mine from Best Machine in Mich. the heads were'nt a true 65 c.c.'s so they corrected them and gave me a mild port job..with shipping i paid $2200.00 for them, and i'm very happy with them..Yes step up to the air gap,i had a torker 2 on one of my 340's years ago and was not happy wiith the way it performed..

Re-use of the stock bolt spaced intake is a mild mod away if actually needed.

It's a shame there not something a hair better or changed.

Yes and no, all engines bennifit from headers, though there not a muct to use. Just...almost crazy not to.

Stock compresion for 77? OUCH! Best bang for the buck for the street would be the Edelbrock heads.
