I'm working on my /6 to 360 swap in my 64 valiant. I have the drop centerlink but it hits the pan on left turns. I have the stock mopar 360 center sump pan. anyone else run into this problem? I'd like to avoid fixing this with 5LBBFH. but short of changing pans which is not likely to happen I'm at a loss

So you have the v8 link?

I'm thinking your pan doesn't have the indentation for the pitman/link, I'll take a pic of the right pan so you can compare.

nope my pan is missing that. Guess I'm gonna have to pull the motor again take the pan off, notch it. reseal it, paint it, yada yada yada. like I dont have enough problems with header clearance and shoehorning a five speed. oh well. thanks!!!!

no, is that pan for the 273? I doubt the low pro milodon will clear the K frame

It's a mopar replacement 340 pan so yes it bolts on a 273,318,340 but not 360 due to the different [smaller] rear pan seal.

Milodon pan should fit, the deep sump version hits a lil at the pass side front corner but I cit the corner off and weld a flat piece over the hole.

I think I might notch the pan I have in a simialar fashion to the pic you posted. a higher capacity milodon pan would be nice but I dont want to spend a couple hundred bucks only to cut it up. I've already spent a hundred on the pan I have now. and know that it fits everywhere else. fabbing up the trans x member is first on the list though. thanks for the pics and the quick respo's
