360 gasket kit?

I have a new in the box 360 gaskey kit that I just got from jegs. is it the same or partially the same for a 318. I found a 360 short block reman on ebay for 700 shipped, but a buddy of mine has access to a very strong 1968 318 for sale for 500 with rebuilt 904. thinking about buying the 318 and using the 360 gasket set to change head gasket, and intake manifold if that is possible. the 360 has no oil pump, pan, heads, covers, cam ect. by the time I add all of this to it (I have the heads and covers) I will end up spending 1100 or a bit more. the 318 runs strong and can just drop in. so will they work?

The gaskets will work. The only gaskets that will not work, off the top of my head, are the oil pan gaskets..
Head and intake gaskets for the 318/273 are smaller in the port window. Otherwise, thats it.
