I am planning a bluildup of a 360.

.30in over
cast iron heads. 2.02in intake; mild port job, bowls blended, gasket match
crane gold race rockers
dbl roller timing chain
rpm air gam manifold
750cfm edelbrock car
1 5/8 in hedman headers
2.5in dual exhaust through flowmasters
comp cam XE274H .488/.491
sealed power 9.5:1 pistons
msd distributer and 6AL ignition
electric fan

Can anyone guess at how much hp this will make at the crank? I'm just looking for a ballpark figure.

350-375 should be very easy im betting i could be low balling here :drinkers:

Probably low-balling but close. I am running almost an identical setup in my 3200# 65 Barracuda. Only differences are CompCams XE268, windage tray and MP electronic ignition. I run sub 5 second 0-60 times with traction problems, and high 12's/low 13's on street tires depending on how "off" I am. Your combo should be a fairly healthy street package.

Unless 11's are what you're after............... :headbang:

p.s. - Incidentally, my 360 seems to be much happier with the DP 850 I have on it now than the 750 vac secondary unit I had on it earlier.

I do have a windage tray for it. I was hoping for low to mid 12s out of this car. I already have the pistons and cam for this. If you have any changes to this setup which would make more hp, other than the cam and pistons I would love for you to share it with me.

I like your combo. But with 360 inches and if you go above 6200 rpm I like the 1 3/4 tubes. I think more like 400 would be more like it. Enjoy the ride, LOL. Terry.

check out "mikesduster" 340 motor thats for sale in the parts for sale section on this site....if your on the east coast it may save you some $$$

Dont waste your time with an Eddy carb. Add a couple more dollars and get a 750 Demon or a Holley HP. Also go with a Milodon Oil Pan Kit for added protection and good oil pressure. Its best to do it right the first time, than to do it again in a couple of months because you're unhappy with the results. With a trans that doesnt slip, 3,000 to 3,500 stall, 3.91 gear and a set of BF Goodrich drag radials you will be in the 12's.
