Hi everyone....will a 360 magnum bolt up to the motor mounts just like the older 318/360? Will my spitfire headers fit the newer heads? Also will a 904 bolt up to it? and last but not least, will the j heads I have bolt on to the block without issues? I am getting ready to start a 360 swap and I have found a couple of good deals on the 360 magnums. I also have a 73 360 shortblock I can rebuild. I think it would be cheaper just to drop a slightly used magnum if it will fit.....(it would be carbeurated) Oh yeah, Are there an other concerns that I am missing? Thanks for any help.

I would get a carb intake that would bolt to the magnum heads, why swap out the magnums for a lesser head? :wack:

Magnum block doesn't have oiling holes in the block to feed "J" heads rocker assy. That is why the magnum uses oiling holes in the lifter and push rods, like a SBC.

use a complete magnum 360 adapt a carb style intake if needed my 2c ..

I thought the motor mount were different on the magnum or it is just that they added extra mount and left the old. I have not found a rebuildable magnum 5.9 so I have not seen the mounts.

As far as I know they have both style mounting pads on the block.

Thats correct.

Slap on a OPerformer RPM Magnum intake and a Holley 750 and let it rip.
